Mornings
- Pedestrian gate opens at 8.20am for children and parents/carers to arrive
- Children go straight to class – a member of staff greets the children on the gate.
- The pedestrian gate is locked at 8.40am and registration closes at 8.50.
- Morning lessons start at 8:30am
Break
- Morning break is from 09.45 am until 10.00am
Dinner Time
- EYFS and KS1 lunchbreak is from 11.45am to 12.45pm
- KS2 lunchbreak is from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
End of the Day
- The pedestrian gate is unlocked at 2:50pm for parents/carers to arrive on the playground and collect their child.
- Staff dismiss the children at 3.00pm.
Lateness/Absence
All pupil absences should be reported to the school office via telephone (01302 743145) or via message to school dojo no later than 8:45am each morning of a child’s absence. Absences can be recorded on the Arbor app.
If a pupil arrives after 8:45am they will be given a late mark in the register.
If a message concerning a child’s absence has not been made by 9:00am the school will attempt to contact parents via telephone to establish the reason for a child’s absence. If the school has not received confirmation of a child’s absence by 9:30am further action will be considered and staff from the safeguarding team will asses the need for further contact. This may include a home visit by school staff, referral to children’s social care or a request that the Police conduct a welfare check.
